Capstone develops solution to automate and enhance Condition Reporting

The Need
The EPG Corrective Action Program (CAP) process requires initiation of a Condition Report (CR) document when problems involving human performance, process Performance, or equipment performance are identified.

The current method of capturing CRs requires manual data-entry. An employee writes and submits a CR document which is reviewed and then entered into PassPort Action Tracking.

A front-end solution for CR entry and management is needed to streamline the CR entry and review process as well as improve the quality of the data entered and reduce rework.

The Solution
Implement a review process using Hyperion and integrate the reports with the Java web application. The following Hyperion reports were developed:

• Search for AR report in Specified Time
• POD Review Daily
• Corporate Review Daily
• Full AR report
• Search for Assignment
• Word Search Condition Report

For the word search condition report implement an Intermedia environment with word search capabilities. And automate the tables refresh process.

The Result

• Add / edit more review process to the toolbox in future. This is a simplified solution and easy to maintain.
• Automated the Intermedia table refresh.
